Health and Wellness

The health and well-being of our community members is a core priority of the Northwest Seattle Gambian Association (NWSGA). Civic Education

We promote civic awareness and engagement among Gambians and friends of The Gambia in the Greater Seattle area. We believe informed communities are empowered communities.

Our nonpartisan civic education efforts focus on increasing understanding of individual rights and responsibilities, encouraging participation in local governance, and building awareness of public institutions and civic processes. Through workshops, community forums, and dialogue sessions, we support members in navigating topics such as voting education, access to public services, immigration awareness, and community advocacy. The Pacific Northwest Seattle Gambian Association (NWSGA) is committed to preserving and promoting Gambian culture while empowering the next generation through education.
