Cultural & Youth Education
Preserving Gambian culture while empowering the next generation through education and identity-building.

The Pacific Northwest Seattle Gambian Association (NWSGA) is committed to preserving and promoting Gambian culture while empowering the next generation through education. We design programs that connect youth to their heritage, values, and identity while equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly global society.
Our initiatives include cultural workshops, storytelling, language exposure, traditional music and dance, and mentorship opportunities that foster pride in Gambian traditions. Through youth leadership development, academic support, and intergenerational learning, we aim to nurture confident, culturally grounded young people who can bridge cultures and contribute positively to their communities.
